Expiry dates do not wait for a roadside check
Vehicle and driver documents carry their expiry dates. You hear about the one running out in advance, not on the road.
Trucks and trailers
- A record with dimensions and weight. The same figures feed route calculation — nobody has to keep them in the dispatcher head.
- The trailer is its own unit. With its own documents and dates, because that is how it lives anyway — apart from the tractor.
- Retired vehicles do not vanish. They leave the current list but stay in order history and reports.
Drivers
- Documents with expiry dates. Licence, driver card, ADR, medical certificate, work permit. Each with its own date and reminder.
- The document set follows the company jurisdiction. The country of registration determines which driver documents are required.
- Former drivers stay in history. The trips they ran do not disappear — otherwise reports for past periods would start lying.
Fleet costs
Repairs, insurance, leasing, tyres — by vehicle and month, in one grid. You maintain the cost types yourself.
Amounts from purchase invoices can be pulled in as a separate column, so you do not enter what accounting already entered.
